Core Company:

Ryan Mullins

Ryan Mullins was named Artistic Director of NoExit in 2016. Since becoming a company member in 2008, Ryan Mullins has helped bring many shows and characters to stages all over Indianapolis. As a director, Mullins led many NoExit shows to fruition, including The House of Blue Lights, The Yellow Wallpaper, George Orwell’s 1984, and The Birds among others. In 2010, Mullins originated the role of Wolfgang Drosselmeyer in NoExit’s offbeat interpretation of The Nutcracker and has appeared in many interpretations since. Mullins has partnered with Michael Burke, a former NoExit Performance Artistic Director, to create the IndyFringe hits I Am Peter Pan and Alice vs. Wonderland. Mullins is also a noted lighting designer having worked on many local stages and several haunted houses.

Lukas Schooler

Lukas Schooler is a visual artist whose innovative work has been featured throughout Indiana. Schooler joined NoExit in 2012 as its Director of Outreach and Development, later transitioned to Director of Operations. In October 2015, Schooler accepted the position of Executive Director until 2019. As an artist for NoExit, Schooler designed sets for Middletown, Our Experiences During the First Days of Alligators, and Death for Sydney Black. Schooler appeared on stage as Tully in the IndyFringe hit The Beast, the Lady, and the Sanguine Man, and made his directorial debut with Suzan Lori-Parks’ Venus in February 2014.

Callie Burk-Hartz

Callie Burk-Hartz has worked as an actor, director, choreographer, and voice over artist since returning to Indy in 2010.  As an actor with NoExit, she performed in one of her all-time-favorite roles, the title character of Death for Sydney Black in the play’s Midwest debut. In addition, Callie has appeared as Little Red in Bad Wolf, the Fire Dancer in Venus, and as the fantastically evil Dilworth in the premier performance of House of Blue Lights. Burk-Hartz has created dance spectacles for Defiance Comedy and BroZone. A theatre professor in the Department of Communication Studies at IUPUI, Callie recently joined University High School as a teacher and director.

Beverly Roche

Beverly Roche became a member of NoExit Performance in 2015 and has appeared in, costumed, and built props and puppets for many of the productions. She has appeared on stage at the Phoenix Theatre, for the Fonseca Theatre Company, and many others. She is an experienced teaching artist with Arts for Learning, Young Actors’ Theatre, ArtMix and the Indiana Repertory Theatre.

Evren Wilder Elliott

Evren Wilder Elliott is a local storyteller and Theatre of the Oppressed practitioner. They joined NoExit Performance as a Company Member in 2020, and appeared as Starving Woman in NoExit’s 1984 in 2017 and Mamma Fricchetona in NoExit’s Orgasmo Adulto Escapes from the Zoo in 2019. You might have recently seen them in Fat Turtle’s production of Prospect Hill as Ethan. Evren is also a Founding Fellow with Caliban Artist Co-Op, located in Irvington. They also teach yoga throughout Indianapolis.

Kimmie Icenogle

Kimmie Icenogle joined NoExit Performance’s company in 2020. She was in NoExit’s The Birds in the fall of 2019 as Scratch and was the Sugar Plum in NoExit’s Nutcracker in 2011 and 2013. You may have also seen her as Helga in a performance of Cabaret in the summer of 2012. Tracy Herring

Tracy Herring joined NoExit Performance in 2020. She was recently in their productions of Nickel and Dimed and The Birds: Inspired by the Hitchcock Classic. Tracy is a regular performer with ComedySportz Indianapolis and has been fortunate to work with Wisdom Tooth Productions, Fonseca Theatre Company, Q Artistry, and American Lives Theatre. Tracy is also a licensed clinical social worker, compulsive recycler, and doxie mom.

Associate Members:

Lesli Butler

Lesli Butler joined NoExit Performance’s company in 2020. She was in NoExit’s The Birds in the fall of 2020 as Zephyr. Butler is a former student of Ann Harmeson Hardacre when she performed for 16 years on the stage at the Paramount Theatre in Anderson, Indiana. You may have taken a class from Butler at CITYOGA or seen her roaming around Newfields where she works in events.

John Gallo

John Gallo is a playwright and attorney in Indianapolis, IN. His work has appeared at the Indianapolis Ten Minute Play Festival and the Fonseca Theatre. Most recently, John’s short play Love Isn’t Easy was produced during NoExit Performance’s inaugural First Read online presentation. He joined NoExit’s company in 2020. He enjoys competitive fantasy baseball leagues and non-competitive baseball leagues.

Owen Harp

Owen Harp joined NoExit Performance’s company in 2020. He was Stratton NoExit’s The Birds in the fall of 2019.

Loki Hestell

Loki Hestell joined NoExit Performance’s company in 2020.

Gigi Jennewein

Gigi Jennewein joined NoExit as a Board Member in 2015.  The stage called and she stepped off the board to appear in the NoExit 2018 production The Mutilated.  Given her predilection for making work, she has decided to try being a Company Member for a while.  Jennewein has been acting, directing and performing in central Indiana for over 25 years.  She is on the faculty at DePauw University.

Tristan Montgomery

Tristan William Montgomery joined NoExit Performance in early 2020. He first worked with NoExit on The Birds, fall 2019, and subsequently also contributed to Stone Soup at Newfields. He is a proud alumni of Young Actors Theatre where he developed his love for performing arts! Tristan loves supporting local art and tries to find any opportunity he can to support the culture that nurtured him!

Gabriela Padilla

Gabriela Padilla joined NoExit in late 2019. She played Ave in their recent show “The Birds” this past fall. She was a member of the NBA Pacers Hype Crew dance team in 2018 as well. Gabriela is super excited to officially work with NoExit and to be a part of their upcoming season!

Stephanie L. Wilson

Stephanie L. Wilson joined NoExit in 2020. Last fall she made her debut in The Birds, as Polly. After a seven year hiatus from theater it feels good to be back doing what she loves. When not tweeting around with NoExit, Stephanie can be found at home doing various improv games with her six and eight year old (who’s skills far outweigh her own), while listening to Hans Zimmer and Spongebob music on loop.

Emeritus Company:

Georgeanna Smith-Wade

Georgeanna Smith Wade performed in her first NoExit show in 2007. She was the Executive Artistic Director from 2009-2015. She is currently the Artistic Director of Young  Actors Theatre, and a co-founder of Summit Performance Indianapolis. Favorite NoExit credits include Antigone (Director,) The Nutcracker (Director/Choreographer/Sparkle,) Closer (Anna,) 4.48 Psychosis (The Patient,) Not Your Shakespeare’s Macbeth (Lady Macbeth).
